Wheels at the Beach, Labor day show at former air base, off Business 17, in Myrtle Beach, sponsored by the Myrtle Beach Car Club in conjunction with Beach Boogie BBQ and the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce. Registration from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Entry fee: $15.00. Judging 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm with awards given at 3:30 pm. All proceeds benefiting: Citizen's Against Spouse Abuse. All cars/trucks must have current insurance and no burnouts, ablolutely no cruising, alcohol, drugs or loud music will be allowed.

The annual Bob Strawbridge Memorial New Years Day Cruise will be held at 12 noon. Meet at Horry County Tech parking lot at the Old Air Force Base. The cruise will continue to Ocean Blvd. up to and ending at Burky's. In case of rain the cuise will be held the following Saturday.

First, second and third place prizes will be awarded. From Myrtle Beach take Hwy 17 south to Litchfield, upon approaching the third traffic light, turn right on to Country Club Drive. The Lakes at Litchfield will be the first entrance on the right. |
